Onward Christian Soldiers - The West's War Against Islam IS A Holy One

The corrosive, dismantling, idealistic meme of the Left - inclusivity - has never meant polity, or a tolerant, integrated, harmonious commonwealth, but a country in which European white civilization has been demonized and dismissed.  

Yet it is to Europe that America at its founding looked for inspiration - a continent of high culture, science, arts, and learning.  A Christian continent, one whose very core and social fabric is governed by the Greco-Roman principles of the Early Church, infused with the exegetic logic of Athanasius, Aquinas, and Augustine. 

 

Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni said, 'As Western peoples, we have a duty to keep this promise and seek the answer to the problems of the future by having faith in our values: a synthesis born out of the meeting of Greek philosophy, Roman law and Christian humanism.'

'Sono una donna, una madre, una Cristiana, una Italiana', she shouted to a crowd of supporters. 'I am a woman, a mother, a Christian, and an Italian' confirming her belief in the greatness of the the Greco-Roman and Christian principles, empires, and cultures which provided the foundation for modern Italy and rejecting revisionist thinking which has challenged God-given sexuality and reproduction, flaccid notions of 'inclusivity', and patriotism. 

 

Her words were a clear, unequivocal stance against the false 'multiculturalism' which has created a political and social myopia, one which ignores the destructive, hegemonic, expansionist intolerance of Islam.  No one but the insular Left ignores the shouts of Allahu Akbar! during every terrorist assault - shouts of religious aggression by ISIS, Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, Houthis, al-Shabab, and the Taliban. 

No one but the Left looks at the defiance of Muslims in France and their hostility to the secular state as anything but a reflection of their publicly-stated conviction of a worldwide Islamic caliphate. No one but the Left ignores Muslims' demands for sharia law and dismissal of democratic jurisprudence. 

 

Hamas has made its hatred of Israel and its desire to exterminate the Jews quite clear.  Such hatred is not only based on its demands for territorial recognition and right of return, but on religious belief.  The Jews are obstacles to the spread of Islam and the Islamization of the Middle East and beyond. 

The ayatollahs of Iran have been even more blunt.  'Death to the Jews', they shout. Israel is right to attack Gaza and Iran with brutal, uncompromising force; and America is right to support them unequivocally. 

The Trump Administration as part of its dismantling of DEI (Diversity Equity Inclusivity) has said that no movement whose violent, implacable desire is to turn the world into a redoubt of religious zealotry belongs in the commonwealth of nations.  Trump like Meloni has acknowledged America's European roots and its Greco-Roman antecedents.  Both remember Roncesvalles, the French defeat of the invading Muslim Saracens, and Charlemagne's preservation of Christian Europe. 

Trump, the Israelis, and their European allies have shown the world what they are up against, and that foe is Islam. The war is a religious one, and only a unified, purposeful, determined crusade will suffice. 

Unbelievably American campuses have been the scenes of violent, inchoate, hysterical hatred for Israel and the Jews and lionization of Hamas and the Palestinians.  Gaza and the West Bank are Third World territories, impoverished, corrupt, and feral.  Their hatred of the Jews and the diversion of enterprise, investment, and support into attacking Israel has resulted in the consignment of the Palestinian people to a persistently backward life. 

Even countries outside the Middle East have been infected with Islamic expansionism. Turkey, the land of secularist Ataturk, has become fundamentalist under Erdogan, and there is no doubt whatsoever that he would like to create a conservative state not unlike Iran.  Bangladesh, once a moderate Muslim country but committed to secularism, has become as riven by religious fanaticism as any state in the Middle East.  Moderate Islamic countries in Africa like Mali have come under the thumb of ISIS and their claques. 

One has to be deaf, dumb, and blind to not see the Islamic territorial juggernaut and the challenge to secularism, democracy, and Christianity. 

In 1095 Pope Urban II began the two hundred year war against Islam, sending his crusaders to Jerusalem to rid the Holy Land of Muslim invaders. 

Islam has been a problem for the West for well over a thousand years, and its claim to be a peaceful religion is belied by its centuries-long aggression against 'the infidel' and the hegemonic desire to create a universal Muslim caliphate. 

Radical Islam lay dormant for many centuries, but in recent years has been renascent.  ISIS, the Taliban, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and especially their patron, Iran, have expressed their intentions to exterminate the Jews and bring Christians under the yoke of the Prophet.  Millions of Muslims have repopulated Europe, and thanks to successive Leftist governments who welcomed them in a show of internationalism, tolerance, and magnanimity, they represent significant proportions of populations in many countries. 

While Iran and its Middle East proxies were waging war against Israel, these European Muslims have been slowly but progressively eroding the Christian fabric of the continent. Defiantly opposed to be integrated within the godless, secular, democratic societies to which they have migrated and insisting on sharia law and the right to continue their punitive, censorious, and medieval ways, these Muslims have corroded the polity of Europe and fomented divisiveness, hatred, and civil unrest. 

European leaders especially Marechal and LePen in France, Orban of Hungary, Duda of Poland, Farage of the UK, Weidel of Germany, and Wilders of the Netherlands, have joined Meloni in their warnings about Islam and finally have said Basta! and begun to effect drastic changes in their countries' immigration laws and approach to non-integrationist Muslim communities.

For years under liberal Democrat rule in the United States, a false, naive, and idealistically deformed Left insisted the opposite.  Condemning Islam was against the progressive charter, for it was as welcome as Christianity under the big tent of diversity.  The idea of tolerance became the cover for craven acceptance of Islamic militancy and radical territorialism.  

Islam is not the problem, liberals insisted, but social and economic inequality, racism, and colonialism.  The Ayatollahs repeatedly reconfirmed their intention to kill the Jews and destroy Israel; but no one paid attention.  Meanwhile Iran and its proxies went about their business of militant religious nationalism. 

It took the October 7th attack by Hamas terrorists on Israeli civilians to wake up the Christian world to the reality of Muslim extremism.  These Iran-supported attackers were making good on their patron's promise to rid the world of Israel and Jews - a jihad, a religious war against the infidel as encouraged by and promised in the Quran.

 

It was time to act, and Israel mounted an aggressive preemptive attack on Iran in a move to degrade and destroy the military infrastructure responsible for its continuing assault on the Jewish homeland and to prepare the way for a destruction of its nuclear capability.  The United States joined the effort and with specialized deep-penetration megaton bombs 'obliterated', in the President's words, its nuclear installations. 

Israel had always said that the threat of its enemies was existential - the very survival of the country and its people was at stake - and they would never, ever allow that to happen.  Israel alone took Iran seriously and always knew that someday they would have to attack, destroy and permanently defeat it. 

So the Holy War, the new Crusades, has begun.  There is now an international consensus about the threat of radical Islam - a real threat, not a racist invention, a justification or Israeli occupation and American world authority.  Only the predictably anti-Israeli United Nations is crying foul, howling to the world about the Jewish predator, the aggressor, the racist occupier. 

With the Left in disarray and its DEI program discredited and dismissed, the American public is more likely to hear a more objective assessment of the country's international challenges.  In one decisive step, the American government took action and destroyed Iran's nuclear capabilities, sending a message to the world that Muslim fundamentalist aggression must and will be stopped.
