Donald Trump And Iran - America's Return To History's Territorial Imperative And A Nail In The Coffin Of 'Inclusivity'

Tehran is burning, the Ayatollah is on the ropes, and President Trump is itching to finish the job.  Like Venezuela, a win-win situation - US-controlled oil reserves, the arch-enemy of Israel removed from power, an end to support for Hamas, Hezbollah, and other terrorist organizations, and a welcome to new democracy in an autocratic region of the world.

And yet internationalists everywhere - the United Nations and the Vatican at the head of the queue- are crying foul.  Post-WWII agreements concluded that territorial claims must always be settled peacefully.  Military action can never be justified unless in self-defense, and even then only after negotiations have failed.

The most ardent supporters of the Ayatollah are African dictators who see support for violent regime change too close for comfort.  These 'big men', presidents-for-life rule abusively without consequence, controlling their populations through intimidation, fear, murder, abduction, and exile.  They have been successful at playing the superpowers into compliance thanks to their vast reserves of mineral wealth, and rest secure in fabulous imperial palaces paid for through corruption and financial debauchery.

The American Left has been surprisingly quiet over the events in Iran,  One would have thought that opposition to the decades long Islamic repression of women, the burning of hijabs, and the outspoken hatred for the the regime's Morality Police would be enough to send American feminists into the street cheering for the downfall of the mullahs. But no, there is an eerie but predictable silence, all due to an even greater hatred for Donald Trump and his very public support for American political and economic hegemony.

Control of both Venezuela and Iran's oil - i.e. keeping it out of the hands of America's adversaries Russia and China - will consolidate the American president's power, accord him the status of liberator, and give him the inherent authority to rise to imperial power, so feared by the Left.

Trump has vowed to support the Iranian counter-revolution and warned the regime that if one hair on the heads of peaceful protestors is harmed, the United States would intervene militarily.  This warning, combined with Trump's willingness to do exactly as he says, has given strength and courage to the Iranian people.

A US-friendly Iran and the installation of the Iranian Crown Prince, the son of the former Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi would not only give the American President more international credibility, but would tempt him to raise his sights to include an American monarchy.

Of course all this is nothing but fol-de-rol and shows the historical ignorance of the American Left.  Donald Trump is simply playing out the millennia-old territorial imperative.  No empire, shogunate, or theocracy has ever acted otherwise.  The Russian czars, Persian shahs, Ottoman rulers, Chinese dynastic emperors, Popes, and Islamic kings have all wanted the same thing - power, influence, territory, and control of wealth and resources.

Trump has made no bones about his contention that the Southern Hemisphere is American - his territory, his fiefdom, his empirical territory, and as such is playing the same record of American presidents past who have intervened in Chile, Argentina, and Brazil and have added spycraft and subterfuge elsewhere.

Venezuela is but one example of his desire to exercise dominion and universal authority.  He, in concert with the new, radical conservative presidents of Chile and Argentina will, fight to depose the leftist leaders of Brazil, Ecuador, and Peru.  Soon, the region will follow the path that he has cleared to political freedom, market economics, and laissez-faire capitalism.

Once the Ayatollah has been toppled, the mullahs are on the run, and Pahlavi is returned to power, the United States will be the only player in the region.  In strong alliance with Israel, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE will be in consonant partnership.

Trump will be playing out historical destiny and restoring America's credibility in the world.  Gone are the days of a patsy, weak-sister, grab-your-heels pusillanimous foreign policy.  Might and power must and should be used to further national interest.

The old, faded, and discredited meme of inclusivity is itself history.  While there are still progressives who claim that Islam is no threat, that it is a peaceful religion, and that it represents the purist, simplest, and most dutiful religion among many, the rest of the world is waking up to its insidious if not barbaric attempts to replace Western Christianity with its own medieval brand of sharia.

European leaders like Giorgia Meloni of Italy, Marion Marechal and Marine LePen of France, Alice Weidel of Germany, Gert Wilders of the Netherlands, and Nigel Farage of the UK have been explicit in their warnings.  All have pledged a stop to Muslim immigration, a deportation of Muslim clerics who promote Islamic radicalism, and an oath of allegiance to majority Christian principles.

For them non-thinking, automatic inclusion of any and all social, ethnic, and racial groups is tantamount to capitulation.  The Islamic regime of Iran is nothing but a terrorist, abusive, oppressive, authoritarian regime which uses religion as a tool of control.

The fall of Venezuela is a final blow to world socialism, and much more importantly, the fall of Iran will represent an end to the febrile idealism of 'diversity'.  Islamic Ira  is not diverse, it is a freak show, a twisted distortion of both religion and governance.

Not all cultures are equal, despite the protests of progressives who choose to let Iran's mullahs rule in the spirit of inclusivity.  As European leaders are now forcefully stating, European Greco-Roman, Christian culture has always been at the heart of European civilization and should be praised, not criticized.  American culture, derived from the same roots should be similarly and defiantly proud.

The fact that the mute response to the events in Iran is shared by African dictators and the American Left is telling - neither want their models of governance to be threatened.  The fall of the Iranian Islamic regime sends a warning shot across the bow of Africa and signals the death knell of a self-serving, historically ignorant, destructive progressive doctrine.
