..And another suspicious interpretation, this time from a feminist critic - Shakespeare rescues his "threatened masculinity" by killing Cordelia. Hmmmm...
OK here's a new twist - Cordelia and Lear have passionate but unrequited incestuous longings for each other. Whose insight. None other than...(drum roll)...Freud (who else?)
